RapidDeveloper – Customization Tool for RapidAuthor
RapidDeveloper by Cortona3D is a powerful add-on tool designed to help RapidAuthor users customize both the import process of 3D CAD data and the final output format of their projects. It includes two main components:
- RapidConfiguration – Allows users to analyze and adjust CAD data before import. Users can define data structure, units, axes orientation, surface properties, levels of detail, and map CAD metadata to templates.
- RapidSpecification – Enables customization of the document output. Users can create custom specifications to define document types, formats, metadata, and output appearance (compatible with standards like DITA, ATA 2200, and S1000D).
RapidDeveloper is sold separately and typically recommended as a single license alongside multiple RapidAuthor users.
Cortona2D Editor Pro
Cortona2D Editor Pro is a powerful vector graphics editor tailored for creating and editing 2D illustrations, including those used in technical documentation. It supports CGM (WebCGM, ATA GREXCHANGE, S1000D), SVG, and raster formats (JPEG, PNG, TIFF, GIF).
